“ Service is great, staff are friendly and helpful. I had a very delicious chicken Caesar salad. Also the hot chips were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The atmosphere here is great and lots of parking. Good pricing on the meals too. Will definitely come back to try some other dishes ”

Prices of Food Very Reasonable compared to other places with lower quality food for much higher prices. ”
“ Staff were great. Service was quick. Atmosphere was relaxing and chill. The food was a let down. The sweet potato fries (+$2) were excellent, but the parmi itself was soggy on the bottom, was a tasteless mess. The wings were a great price and super tasty But both of our parmis tasted oily, lacked flavour and were soggy on one side. They definitely need to be cooked longer and then drained on a paper towel or something. First time eating here since the renovations and disappointed. ”

“ We used to love going to the Lucky Star Tavern however very disappointed with the recent new menu. NO kids meals any more. It used to be one of the best things about the Lucky Star, my son loved the dagwood dog and chips and so affordable. Anyone with kids that are picky eaters will have issues. ”
“ Been coming here for over 10 years, can’t fault the place really. Other than the new menu and change of this. I brang my kids not too long ago after the menu changed and they wouldn’t eat. The use too love coming and getting the kids meals with a drink. Now it’s more expensive and doesn’t include a drink. Let alone the southern style tenders. Kids aren’t a fan. Not many kids are. The only thing on the kids menu for KIDS is the calamari now. Been a mum for 9 years and can say, kids don’t enjoy the new meals and I’m not the only one saying this. Sadly. ”

“ Our little Gem!! The staff are always nice and friendly. The meals are tasty, great size and very reasonably priced. You can sit inside or ourside to eat, drink and or socialise. You can have a flutter on the horses or dog, put on a keno or even put a $ or 2 in the pokes. Just an all-round fantastic place to come and relax with friends and family. ”
